For the remainder of 2024, all meetings will take place on the 2nd Friday of each month. Potluck starts at 6:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Welcome to all members and those interested in sailing and want to inquire about becoming a member. The Potluck always has plenty of good food and we achieve a lot of business of the club while furthering the joy of sailing.

THE HYC was established under the agreement with the AF at Arnold in the 1950’s and has been in existance in some form ever since then. Initially it was very sucessfull in competions notably on Percy Priest Lake, Atlanta Yacht Club, and Hickory Yacht Club. Members contiue to compete well in many competions around the USA and around the world. I was fortunate to crew with Don and Aulene Barton taking the Tennessean cup in the mid 70’s. We did well taking the Thistle regionals at Muscle Shoals. Those were fun times.
